The rehabilitation of the Laja primary school has been a great success and the construction was completed by the end of December 2016.
The impact of this school rehabilitation has been great for the children and the local community. Previously children were having to walk up to 12km to get to an alternative school as the Laja school was in such dangerous disrepair that students and teachers did not want to attend. Upon completion the numbers of staff and teachers began increasing and the school is once again a safe bustling enviroment.
