The first 6 months of 2026 have been both exceptionally busy and exceptionally successful.
From rounding up another hugely impact-full year of our Nutrilearn program and our every growing Girls Empowerment program, to opening our first project in Bangladesh, whilst making big strides in our new Eco- learning centre high in the Peruvian Andes.
Our existing projects go from strength to strength, with our initial Eco-learning centre serving over 4000 children a year and spreading the knowledge through their communities and schools, building respect for the environment and a passion for sustainability throughout the Sacred Valley of Peru.
This project and the forthcoming centre act as beacons of what can be possible in this beautiful country.
Our Love Learning centre has received additional support to add extra space and re-plaster some areas to keep the building looking brand new.
Our school utilising the equipment from the Paris Olympics goes from strength to strength with a beautiful new playground and basketball area sponsored by volunteers.
The girls learning centre looks incredible, it’s been a real journey but we are very happy to say that we are very nearly there. One final push of taking the DJ community on a 14 day trek deep into the Himalyers to one of the highest lakes at 17,000ft to host the highest full moon party in the world to raise money to complete the centre.
The trek will finish at the project where participants and kids will put finishing touches to the centre and officially open the buildings. The DJ community will also be contributing tech booths so the girls can podcast, learn to DJ and conduct interviews or simply have a quiet place to chat to friends abroad.
The walls will be donned with stunning murals from world renowned artists working pro-bono. A truly magical project only made possible by the generosity and trust of the team at Accuro.
Our new small initiative supporting 2 remarkable young girls through a 12 month journey with the support they need for their Autism is already proving to be critical and hugely beneficial - it is showing just how underrepresented these children are and just what an incredible difference a little support and awareness can create for the girls and also reducing the stigma attached to perceived disabilities in Nepal.
With our new reporting model of every 6 months we have more in depth insights to show you directly from
the ground and using the voices of the teams and beneficiaries. They are exceptionally proud of their work and the reporting, it will be a little different as it’s direct from the ground but i feel it will really show you the incredible work that is being done on behalf of accuro and the trust.
Looking forward to the next 6 months!
