WELCOME ACCURO FIDUCIARY
TO YOUR PROPOSED HUMANITARIAN AID PROJECT PLAN BEGINNING APRIL 2021
We aim to continue making a significant and measured difference to thousands of children’s lives in deeply underprivileged areas where there is little hope of a fair and happy life without intervention and support.
Covid-19 lock-down and it’s ramifications have severely compounded already difficult and dangerous situations in Nepal, particularly in instances of domestic abuse towards girls and increasing child marriage rates. Because of this, we remain devoted to the safety, rights and education of the underprivileged, suppressed and highly vulnerable girls of rural Nepal.
Your support has been a lifeline for many and we are as ever deeply grateful for your generosity and partnership.
Working within a suggested annual budget of EUR 250,000 and based upon past success, need on the ground, predicted impact and feasibility, our proposed projects for 2021 and beyond are as follows.
GIRLS’ DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, DEVCHULI, NEPAL
Approx 20 month building plan
EUR 240,000
COST YEAR 1: EUR 120,000
COST YEAR 2: EUR 120,000
Despite the ongoing success of our girls’ empowerment program, there is still a great deal of support needed for the girls of Nepal, particularly in rural areas.
There are thousands of young women in deeply difficult and abusive situations with nowhere to turn. The region desperately needs a centre where these girls can come for help, support, refuge and education about their rights.
This centre will serve as a central hub for our empowerment programs where meetings can take place, visiting role models can speak, and the girls can share their learning from the GEP with other young women in a safe and secure environment. Ideally the centre will provide office space for care professionals and accommodation for any visitors or girls in urgent need.
All of the GEP media; TV shows, Radio broadcasts and literature will be available to watch read and listen to for all members of the community.
Police and legal professionals will be on hand to assist girls in need and take action in their villages if necessary.
A centre such as this would be a huge step forward for not only the girls of the region, but for Nepal as a whole. Centrally located the centre will welcome girls from all surrounding municipalities, spreading knowledge and support to rural areas and above all providing a safe environment for deeply vulnerable young women in need.
We have government support for this building who along with our partners on the ground will provide the long-term running costs for this centre so once completed this building will be fully financially sustainable.

GIRLS’ EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM, KAWASOTI MUNICIPALITY, NEPAL
36 month plan
COST: EUR 100,000 (ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND) per annum.
At the end of March 2021 we will complete 3 years of your Girls’ Empowerment Program in Nawalpur, Devchuli, Nepal.
You will see from our quarterly reports that the program has been a resounding success. The impact it has had on the deeply underprivileged young women of the region, has been beyond that which any of us could have hoped for, both locally and on a government policy level.
With your support, we would very much like to expand this program into another area; Kawasoti Municipality. We already have full support of the government and the community is very much behind the concept. To further increase the impact of this program and it’s reach, we will also be able to apply everything learned over the past 3 years.
We have quite literally changed the lives of thousands of young women for the better, and would love to use this as a strong base for the next phase to have an even bigger impact. Without our work supporting these young women in poor rural areas, they would have very little chance of a fair and safe start in life.
Three years has proven to be the ideal time period for the Devchuli program and we are now in a position to expand. In order to continue the success, we would like to ask for your support in launching the next 3 year phase in April 2021.
Kawasoti is a municipality bordering Devchuli municipality; where the existing GEP was implemented. Kawasoti is a larger municipality with a larger population than Devchuli, and has more Bote and Mussahar communities, which are minority communities that have greater cases of child marriage than elsewhere in Nepal.
As Kawasoti borders Devchuli, the girls’ empowerment program has already managed to create a ripple effect. Our peer educators have been invited to the Kawasoti municipality as trainers, and the community itself has requested our support. By expanding the program in to the neighbouring municipality, the momentum will create a more effective, efficient, and sustainable pathway to achieving gender equality across the region.
These two municipalities will become a model for others to derive inspiration from and create a larger movement.
An important part of the new program will be working with the girls from our existing program, supporting ongoing work in their communities, education and careers. Because of the nature of the program, and the way in which the girls act as mentors in their respective communities, the reach of the program grows exponentially year on year.
Objectives:
To reduce gender based inequality in Kawasoti Municipality
To eliminate all forms of violence against girls in the Municipality
To eliminate all harmful social practices (child, early and forced marriage, menstrual taboos, etc.)
To empower young girls with sufficient knowledge and skills for their inclusion as well as meaningful participation in social, political, and economic decision making levels.
To ensure equal opportunity as well as addressing inequalities of outcome by identifying and advocating for the reformation of discriminatory laws and practices.
Create an enabling environment for sustained promotion and protection of girls’ rights by strengthening the local government, their plans, and policies.
PAYMENT CYCLE:
First payment: April 1st 2021: EUR 50,000 PAID
Second payment: November 2021: EUR 50,000
The same schedule would apply for year 2 and 3 of this new phase
NUTRITION PROGRAM NEPAL
(ALREADY WAITING TO START AND FIRST 6 MONTHS MONEY IS ON ACCOUNT)
2 YEAR PROGRAM
Our comprehensive nutrition program was due to launch in April 2020. Due to lock-down restrictions, including school closures in Nepal, we decided to pause it’s inception. We remain ready to launch this program, presently the main factor holding us back is school closures as the program intertwines with their infrastructure.
The total agreed cost of the 2 year program is EUR 105,000. Accuro has already deposited EUR 30,000 in our account. The remaining 3 payments of 25k are due throughout the 2 year program. We suggest realistically aiming for April 2021 to launch this project, which is now more needed than ever during these very difficult times in Nepal.
PAYMENT CYCLE:

Second payment: September 2021: EUR 25,000
